Interspecific competition and intraspecific competition
Apr 23, 2018 Like interspecific competition, intraspecific competition is highly densitydependent, meaning that the moredensely populated the ecosystem, the more competition will occur. Intraspecific competition also features interference, where organisms directly fight for the resource, and exploitative competition, where they compete indirectly.Interspecific: hybridized from, relating to, or occurring between different species: interspecific competition. Seen most often between species of large predators like lions and Leopards. Herbivores are often cooperative. Zebras eat long, dry grass and the interspecific competition and intraspecific competition
Competition occurs between two or more organisms. When these organisms belong to the same species it is referred to as intraspecific competition. When it occurs between individuals of different species it is interspecific competition. The goal of this lab is to measure the intensity of intraspecific competition in FastPlants (Brassica rapa).
Sep 12, 2018 Interspecific competition and intraspecific competition are two natural phenomena observed in organisms at all organizational levels. Interspecific competition is the competition between two or more species. In contrast, intraspecific competition takes place only between organisms of the same species. Hence, this competition can be direct or interspecific competition and intraspecific competition
